Dr. Johnson graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his internal medicine residency at Tech in 1984. His practice has become the first in the US to utilize Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT) in early 2006. Dr. Johnson is a member of various medical organizations and has served as a United States physician ambassador to China in 2005.
